What's wrong with my picture?
Today I was walking to buy a Slurpee. I saw a woman who was struggling to carry a heavy box. I helped her. She was pretty. A few blocks later I saw a homeless person sleeping in a doorway. Four more blocks till Slurpee time. On my way back, I saw the homeless person still sleeping. I had forgotten that I saw them in the first place. I looked for the lady with the box, though. She was gone from the spot where I left her.

Never anything sexy about a homeless person. And you can check your dreams of glory at the door.
when we check our dreams at the door, be they of glory or something entirely different, we are but shells, hollow as of those shells left by a snail waiting to be crushed and scattered by the wind.
